Tightness test equipment commonly used methods are bubble method, smear, chemical tracer gas leak detection method, the pressure variation method, flow, ultrasonic and the like. The traditional method of detecting leaks smear method and use more bubble method.
1, applied method: the surface pressure within the applicator is filled with some kind of a soap bubble generation liquid is easy to observe the bubbles in order to detect the case of leakage size.
2, the bubble method: the workpiece is immersed in the water, filling into the air, and then to collect air bubbles from leaking out in a certain time to measure the leakage amount.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of these two methods is it?
Advantages: direct observation of the site of leakage and leakage
Disadvantages:
1, because I do not know in advance the workpiece leak site and several leaks, it is difficult to collect all the bubbles affect the accuracy of measurement;
2, for bulky, heavy, the outer surface of complex parts, and the bubbles adhere to the bottom of the part which folds easily observed; after testing requires a drying process for cleaning a workpiece, not automatically, quantitative leak.
